                         Started Tuesday with our monthly Dinner Meeting at Evergrene.                                 

Greg Reynolds ~ Lagoon Keepers Association was the speaker at our Dinner Meeting.

1>Greg Reynolds makes a point while addressing our squadron.  2> Our members engaged in conversation before the programs start. 3&4>Viewing presentations is much more pleasing with the large screen at Evergrene. Following Greg's talk, there was a 15 minute slide show of our "Squadron Fleet" produced by Lt Jim Tedesco.  It featured photos of our members boats . 5>Cdr Lesly  McWhorter conducts the regular business meeting. 6>McWhorter presents Lt Jim Tedesco with the Website Award. 7>Cdr McWhorter displays a  framed Boat Safety Week Proclamation that was presented us by the County Commissioners.

~~ Wednesday was a cruise aboard the Palm Beach Princess ~~

8>Hmmmm . . . Janice Tedesco reads a brochure about the Titanic just before the Palm Beach Princess leaves the dock.  9>We must get in the usual line to check-in through security. 10>Our own Tamara Aull (center), Guest Relations for the line, greets Lt/C Dick Hoffman, our Commander for 2008 and wife Phyllis as they board. 11>Here we see an unknown serious Bingo player with a hand full of cards - she didn't win either.
12>The stage show was, as usual,  very good. 13>The show included a very well done number from the Phantom of the Opera.
14>While strolling the decks you could see the old Coast Guard station and the Maritime Museum being renovated for use again, and in the background the entrance to the Kennedy Bunker.

  ~~  Saturday the Squadron Raft-Up off Old Port Cove  ~~ 

On a usual sunny day in south Florida our members board their boats for a Squadron Raft-Up
in Lake Worth off Old Port Cove.  What a nice relaxing day.

We gather at the Ports O' Call docks and board Captain Bob Malone's pontoon boat for the cruise to the Raft-Up off Old Port Cove.
With our burgee flapping in the breeze on a sunny day we approach and join the Raft-up.

Ole Sail course teacher Bud Green hails a greeting.
