 FOUNDERS DAY

C
ommander Lesly McWhorter, delivers Founders Day address.
Neither rain, nor shine, nor dark of night shall keep these hardy squadron warriors from their
annual Founders Day and Picnic on February 4th.  And that's just what we got but - the weather was warm and the
pavilion was fully covered so, considering the circumstances, we were able to do all we planned.  The pledge of
allegiance and the singing of God Bless America started off the Founders Day tribute followed by Cdr Lesly
McWhorter's welcome and remarks.  There was a remarkably large turnout considering the weather was not cooperating.
All in all I must admit it was a good day.
